Some Practices Are Worth The Effort:
For me, writing is a pleasure. It’s a way of sharing. A lot of the posts I put up here make reference to transformation. To me, the idea of transformation goes beyond intellect. Of course, in this works, intellectual intelligence is not only coveted, but also cherished and adorned — however, I feel it is of little value and help in the actual process of transformation is there is nothing behind it to take your
mind into the space in which you seek to go.
To me, there is the addiction – which I think of as any diversionary tactic to we (consciously or unconsciously) use to escape that which we despise about ourselves. Beyond addiction there is a void. A seemingly empty space. That which we use persons places and things to fill. This “void” however, is endless. I feel that once the “lifestyle” (addictions) are taken off the plate — the void is what we are faced with. For the few of us that are able to come to terms with this void, to understand it, to embrace and accept it — the illusion is pain and suffering becomes less and less while what we think of as “intuition” or “knowing” become more prominent.

Emotional Dichotomies:
This is a practice that I feel anyone interested in Meditation, Stress Reduction and (or) demonstrating the power of the mind can gain tremendous benefits from. Originally, I learned the practice of what I call “Emotional Dichotomies” in 2002 when I was taking a series of classes designed to help a person become more in touch with that which drives them. Many of us feel that we are not in control of our emotions — and in turn, suffer months at a time the effects of “heavy” feelings. I know I used to.
The practice itself, is simple. You practice feeling certain emotions, going from one polarity to the other, back and fourth. The results…are to me, fascinating. Probably most so is the sense of detachment and empowerment that directing and releasing emotions delivers. The ebook is written from the perspective of getting past Anxiety in 21 days, but it’s so much more than that. It’s an opportunity to direct your feelings and learn and gain incredible insight into yourself, the way you’re “wired” and how to let go.

Soulistic Touch Home Practice:
This practice (also called erotic meditation, red tantric home practice) was a game changer for me. Many of the older (and recent) blog posts here have been in reference to this practice and what surrounded it. So, if you read the posts, you will get an in depth idea of what this helps. To summarize:
I feel the way many of us relate to erotic energy, or the sexual impulses we have to connect with others causes, potentially, havoc beyond what a summary can surmise, in our lives. Certainly, that was the case for me.
